Meet Our Leadership Team
A lifelong entrepreneur and self taught programmer, Kevin started his first business at the age of eleven and has been a startup junkie ever since. After studying engineering and finance in university, Kevin spent a decade working in investment banking and private equity before being bitten by the entrepreneurial bug once again. Capitalizing on his extensive experience in engineering and finance, he founded Grow in 2014 with the aim of reinventing banking using cutting-edge technology and advanced data analytics.
An outstanding engineering executive with 25+ years of scaling up various global R&D organizations and launching a wide variety of innovative high tech products to market in Silicon Valley and abroad, including Texas Instruments, ST-Ericsson and Intel. Erhun joined Grow to lead engineering teams and tech strategy, excited to bring his vision of AI-powered insights for optimized decision-making to life
Seasoned technology executive with 20+ years in software engineering, sales & marketing and customer experience. Mostly recently Matt was the head of sales & marketing for Vecima Network's IoT SaaS telematics business unit where he led sales & marketing, account management and product management teams. In addition, Matt has been a software engineer for Tantalus Communications, Environmental Criminology Research and Cisco Systems. Matt holds a BASc in Electrical Engineering and MBA, both from the University of British Columbia.
Chris began his career in London more than ten years ago as a Chartered Accountant. He has managed finance and accounting for major organizations, most recently Vancity and Central 1 Credit Union. He was inspired to join Grow by the company’s mission to help Canadians improve their financial well-being by spending more time living their lives and less time in bank lines.
A curious, creative executive with extensive sales and marketing experience. Darren was previously with TELUS managing complex sales deals for a wide variety of Enterprise customers. Passionate about mentorship and teaching, he was an Adjunct Professor at SFU instructing Marketing & Strategic Selling and Entrepreneurship. Darren holds an MBA from UBC and a BA in Economics & Fine Art from McGill.
Marc is an seasoned business lawyer with broad experience working in leading law firms in Canada (Davies) and Hong Kong (Baker & McKenzie). In 2011, Marc started his own law practice serving technology and growth companies. As legal counsel, Marc is deeply involved in all aspects of Grow's business with a view to providing legal advice that is in line with strategic objectives. Marc has a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from University of Toronto Faculty of Law and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Université Laval (Québec City). He is qualified as a lawyer in Quebec and British Columbia, Canada.
